Barbara Mahama, the widow of the late Major Mahama who was gruesomely murdered by the people of Denkyira Obuasi and her children couldn't enjoy the happy moments of the just passed Chrismas. According to her, she missed her husband so much and has asked God how he is doing . Barbara shared some sorrowful words on her whatsapp status with a picture of her deceased husband to express how much she is missing him during this joyful Chrismas season. She wrote: "Yesterday, i asked God how you were doing and to tell you we miss you!"  Here's her post:   Major Mahama was a member of the 5th battalion of the Ghana Arm Forces but met his untimely death on May 29, 2017 while on an official duty at Denkyira Obuasi, when residents mistook him for an armed robber and lynched him to death. Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale does not seem to get over the gruesome murder of the late Captain Maxwell Mahama, now Major Mahama. Shatta Wale in an interview with Kwasi Aboagye on Peace FM’s Entertainmnet Review stated that the entire township as well as anybody who hails from Denkyira Obuasi do not deserve any form of mercy. According to the “Taking Over” singer, “ If I have my own power, I would bring people from Iraq or Afghanistan to bomb the town and all the people there and kill everybody there because everybody that comes from there has that evil mind”. “We have to kill all of them because those people will start moving to Accra very soon and they will start killing people and we will not know who would be doing it.
