'One corner' sensation Patapaa Amisty and his Pa2pa team have dropped a teaser for his recently released 'Highlife Asorkpor' single 'Suro Nipa' (Fear Human). The song features one Nicholas Melody and the video was directed by Dvice Keyz which will be officially premiered next week. Watch the short teaser below :

Patapaa Organizes A Cleanup Exercise In Agona Swedru to give back to His Community (See Photos)

'One Corner' hitmaker Patapaa Amisty as part of giving back to society has organized a cleanup exercise in his community, Agona Swedru. Patapaa's success story begun when some youths of Swedru danced "crazily" to his song 'one corner' which has gone viral, breaking boundaries and eventually launching his music career. He, therefore, owes his community a great deal so this move of his is just prudent and laudable.  He did this with his team and some of his celebrity pals; spotted are Article Wan Sunsum and youths of Swedru. The Wait is Over! Patapaa Names His Genre Of Music

One corner hitmaker Patapaa Amisty has opened up on the genre of music he does. After he got his first worldwide hit 'one corner' which successfully launched his music career, many have been wondering about the category his songs can be classified into. Well, Patapaa has finally broken his silence and according to him his kind of music is a fusion of Highlife and traditional dance music he calls "Highlife -asorkpo". He explained that, before his breakthrough with 'one corner', he used to do authentic Highlife but none of them made it to mainstream so he chooses to stick to his own "Highlife - asorkpo" genre. “I started as a highlife artist and recorded many highlife tracks but they didn't get me the breakthrough until One Corner.” “One Corner was an experiment of fusing Hiplife with traditional dance music. Photos: Patapaa Given A Superstar Welcome At the Airport From His First Abroad Trip

The king of the 'Patupa soldiers' Patapaa Amisty landed yesterday at the Kotoka international airport from his first trip abroad to a warm welcome from his fans. Many people from the media and public trooped to the airport to welcome him home after spending some few days in France through to the UK.  Yesterday was the arrival of Stars as Stonebwoy also landed on the same day after shutting down 2 shows in Miami Florida, 'Best of the Best Music Fest' and the UK 'One Africa Music Fest'. Article Wan is out with the video for his latest joint with 'one corner' hitmaker Patapaa aka Patapeezy, which he calls 'That thing'. The video was shot in one of the suburbs of Accra and in it, Patapaa has rocked a suit again but this time it's sizeable, not his legendary "Coat Vien". Togolese international footballer and İstanbul BaÅŸakÅŸehir striker, Emmanuel Adebayor is set to surprise 'one corner' hitmaker Patapaa soon. The striker disclosed to comedian Funny face in a video that he will pay for any music video Patapaa will shoot. Funny face who is a close pal of the footballer went to his place and in a Live stream on Instagram, a fan praised 'funny face'  for supporting Patapaa, in response, he said "of course! Patapizy to the world".  Adebayor also joined him and said "Patapiizy! anything for you man. Gradually the breeze of stardom is blowing really cool over the head of  'One Corner' hitmaker Patapaa Amisty, as he and his team took a trip to France for a vacation. Pataapa after his snub at the just ended VGMAs and his red carpet suit (Coat Vien) brouhaha, trended for weeks and as a matter of fact became the most featured artist in 2018 so far.  So its just prudent for the rising star to take some time off the bustle and chill off, after successful hits with other colleagues like, 'Akwaaba', 'Shake for daddy' etc. Amisty shared some few photos on social media to give us a gist of his vacation which started from France and will end in the UK, before rocking Ghana Meets Naija stage on the 9th of June in Accra. 'One Corner' Is Damn Weird; Not Backed By A Good Spirit - Joe Mettle

Reigning Ghana Music Awards ‘Artiste of the Year’, Joe Mettle, believes that there is a spiritual force backing every song.  Commenting on the popular tune ‘One Corner’ which has produced a dance craze which many religious leaders have described as demonic, the artiste posited that there is a spirit controlling the craze. Speaking on Showbiz A-Z on Joy FM with Naa Ashorkor on Saturday, Joe Mettle described ‘One Corner’ as strange.  “Actions bring out the effects of the spirit controlling….It is weird. Dancehall giant Shatta Wale, has disclosed how insecure he felt when Patapaa took over the Ghanaian airwaves and the whole of Africa with his onetime hit song 'one corner'. 'One corner' hitmaker, Patapaa's manager Godfred Bokpin has disclosed that, he and his team has no ideas about patapaa's pasport picture which circulated in the media some few weeks ago. Speaking to Andy dosty on hitz fm he said, it will be unfair for someone to say any member of his team leaked the specimen of patapaa's passport picture and informations online, because when you go to the passport office you seat behind a counter and you don't even see the pictures taken of you and your biometric signature until your pasport is ready.
