Apple Music Paid me Over $20,000 Fees for Using my song - Atom Reloaded


2016 Ghana Music Awards hiplife song of the year, ‘Ye Wo Krom’ by Atom was recently played at the Developer Conference of tech giant, Apple  to climax the demo on the all new Apple Music App. And according to Atom, he received a ‘fat cheque’ from Apple for that!
Speaking on the AM Pluzz show with Sammy Flex, Atom revealed that he followed the social media post, contacted Apple company and had a deal with them for using his work without his permission. He claimed: “Apple paid me between $20,000 and $50,000 for using my song without first contacting me.”
He further revealed that the entire process of the settlement between himself and Apple took 45 days.
