GMB Season10 Contestant Badu got Something for You!

BADU- ASHANTI REGION

The gallant Nelson Mandela once said “It always seem impossible until it is done. With his words of inspiration, I believe I can achieve anything once I set my mind on it. My name is Maame Badu Acheampong. My stage name is Badu. Juaso Asante Akyem  South district capital is my birthroot making me a proud “otekorkorso nana”. I am an alumni of the Ghana Institute of Journalism. Growing up as a versatile young lady, I have never relented on my efforts to explore and exploit my skills.I have been involved in so many creative endeavors like acting, poetry, TV and Radio presenting, writing and debating . The lives of most teenage girls in basic and secondary schools ends abruptly when they give birth at an early stage in life. Their prospects in future become blurred with little education. If it is with this bottle neck and more that is why the focus on Ghana’s most beautiful, is to empower these girls to go back to school. This initiative I believe will help minimize the illiteracy rate and also contribute greatly to the national advocacy which is aimed at ending child marriages by the ministry of gender, children and social protection. Help me realize this dream by texting BADU to the short code 1413 on all networks. Thank you and May God bless you all
