Stonebwoy wins ‘Most Promising Artiste’ at International Reggae And World Music Awards (IRAWMA) 2016

Stonebwoy won the ‘Most Promising Artiste’ at the just ended International Reggae And World Music Awards (IRAWMA). Stonebwoy was  nominated alongside Skip Marley, Alborosie, Franko, and Major Myjah. He garnered 5505 votes to win the category.
The award scheme, which seeks to acknowledge and honour the accomplishments and contributions of reggae and world music artistes, including songwriters, performers, promoters and musicians saw a total of 160 nominations.  Shatta Wale was one of the nominees from Ghana. 
Stonebwoy expressed his gratitude to his loyal fans for the support and edged them to help bring the MAMAs too home in a facebook post.  Congratulations Stonebwoy!

Dancehall Superstar Stonebwoy shutdown Samatex Sports Stadium in Samerboi- Western Region of Ghana on May 1, with energetic performance witnessed by a mammoth, crowd. Stonebwoy and his Bhimnation team performed for the Wood processing company 'Samatex' in private before the biggest party on the park. The rave was well attended and fans really had fun as some were given the chance to share the stage with their hero.  This's what he had to say after the massive show:  "There Have Been Stars Before Me And Stars Shall Come After...I Just Want to Remain A HERO Now And After...
