Wizkid wins Best African Act at 2016 Pre-MOBO Awards Show | Full List of Winners

Wizkid seems to have had a very impressive year winning several awards this year. The Nigerian artist  has won the Best African Act at the 2016 Pre MOBO Awards show.

The 2016 MOBO Pre Awards show took place at the Cagogan Hall in London, on Thursday, October 27th and for the second consecutive year,  singer / songwriter and producer Shakka picked home the Best R&B/Soul Act for 2016.
The awards show saw electrifying performances from Jaheme, Shakka, Moelogo, Volney Morgan, China Moses, and many others.
The event featured presentations of the MOBO Best R&B/Soul Act, Best Jazz Act, Best Gospel Act awards and Best African Act.
The 2016 Music of Black Origin Awards comes off on 4th November in Glasgow. Artists confirmed to perform include Wiley, Lady Leshurr & Popcaan.

Dancehall Superstar Stonebwoy shutdown Samatex Sports Stadium in Samerboi- Western Region of Ghana on May 1, with energetic performance witnessed by a mammoth, crowd. Stonebwoy and his Bhimnation team performed for the Wood processing company 'Samatex' in private before the biggest party on the park. The rave was well attended and fans really had fun as some were given the chance to share the stage with their hero.  This's what he had to say after the massive show:  "There Have Been Stars Before Me And Stars Shall Come After...I Just Want to Remain A HERO Now And After... Photos & Videos: Stonebwoy Broke and Set New Record At Ashaiman To The World Concert 2018

Ghana's "Most Original" dancehall artist Stonebwoy broke his own record yesterday when he pulled over 70,000 fans and lovers of his music at the Saka Saka Park in Ashaiman for the fifth edition of his annual 'Ashaiman To The World Concert'. The show which recorded its biggest patronage last year saw that record broken yesterday as thousands more of Bhimnation fans across Ghana thronged the park to show love and support for their hero Stonebwoy. Livingstone Etse Setakla aka Stonebwoy was born and bread in Ashaiman and in his own small way of giving back to the hood where his music dreams all started before he broke out and became one of the most sorted after musician in Africa, birthed this concert in 2014 to perform free and also offer the stage for all up and coming acts to showcase their talents to the world.
