PHOTOS: Stonebwoy, Kaakie, Edem and others thrill huge crowd at Great Volta Carnival and Peace and Unity Concert

By

It was a kind of homecoming concert for Stonebwoy, Kaakie, Ebony and Edem as they headlined The Great Volta Carnival and Peace and Unity Concert at the Jubilee Park (Ho), on Saturday .
Organised by GlobaFEST and One Ghana Media, the programme saw a record crowd of over 10,000, a number which  is even more significant seeing that Sundays usually don’t see mammoth outdoor events in the area.
Kicking off  with a street carnival procession at 6 pm, and followed by a display of over fifty cultural troupes and homegrown stars, the concert was crowned by a grand music concert from 7 pm, where the likes of Ebony, Klala, as well as Hiplife veteran Reggie Rockstone thrilled the enormous crowd.

The concert is the first of it’s kind, and organisers intend for it ti be an annual event.

Meet "Cash King" an undergrouund dancehall singer from Newtown Accra, who is sure of shaking up the nation with his bad dancehall vibes. The young man appeared on this week's  Vibes in 5 Unsung show hosted by Arnold Mensah, this seem to be his first ever video interview but, he was so bold and speaking freely about his lifestyle and more.
