AFCON 2017: Gabon Names Final Sqaud for the Tournament

Gabon coach José Antonio Camacho has named the final 23 man squad who are going to battle it out in the 2017 AFCON on their home soil. The squad is led by  team captain and Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and other heavyweight players in the Gabon team such as Didier Ndong of Sunderland, Juventus midfielder Mario Lemina, Bruno Ecuélé Manga of Cardiff City and China-based striker Malick Evouna.
The Host  nation Gabon is placed in Group A with Guinea-Bissau, four-time winners Cameroon and 2013 runners-up Burkina Faso. Gabon will play the opening game of the tournament against Guinea-Bissau  on 14 January in Libreville.
