Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger claimed that both goals scored by Manchester city were offside as his side suffered a 2-1 defeat at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
The Gunners took an early lead in the fourth minute when Theo Walcott finds the net after being put through by Alexis Sanchez, and kept their lead until the half-time break.
However, City equalised two minutes after the interval when Leroy Sane scored past Peter Cech, although the German looked inches offside as he secured a pass from David Silva.
Raheem Sterling got the winner for the hosts with 20 minutes remaining when he cut in from the right wing and beat Cech at his near post. But is so obvious that Wenger is not satisfied with the goals scored by City.
Wenger said after the game: “I feel we dropped physically in the second half. In the first half we looked always dangerous and sharp and on top of that the decisions went against us.
“The two goals are two offside goals and in a game of that stature I feel enough is enough for us. We got some bad decisions for the whole season and today I looked at the goals and both are offside.
“The second one is five yards offside. The first one is still offside. But what can I do? We have to live with that. We have to look at ourselves and analyse why we lost the game.”
