Manchester City have been charged by Football Association in connection with anti-doping rules regarding player whereabouts during drugs testing
The Citizens are in breach of regulations stating that ‘Club Whereabouts’ information must be accurate.
Clubs in England are required to furnish training dates and times, as well as player addresses for drug-testing purposes.
A statement from the FA read: “Manchester City have been charged in relation to The FA’s Rules on Anti-Doping.
“It is alleged the club failed to ensure that their ‘Club Whereabouts’ information was accurate, contrary to Regulation 14(d).
City have until 19 January to respond to the charge
