VGMAs 2017: EL and Medikal Tops the List of Nominees

The Launch of the 2017 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) took place Friday Feb. 25 at Kempinski Hotel in Accra. The theme for this year’s event is CELEBRATING 60years of GH MUSIC. Nominees for the Awards was announced and the reigning Artist of the year EL tops the list with 7 nominations and AMG Business Rapper Medikal also made his first appearance in the ultimate artist of the year category with 6 other nominations.

Dancehall Superstar Stonebwoy shutdown Samatex Sports Stadium in Samerboi- Western Region of Ghana on May 1, with energetic performance witnessed by a mammoth, crowd. Stonebwoy and his Bhimnation team performed for the Wood processing company 'Samatex' in private before the biggest party on the park. The rave was well attended and fans really had fun as some were given the chance to share the stage with their hero.  This's what he had to say after the massive show:  "There Have Been Stars Before Me And Stars Shall Come After...I Just Want to Remain A HERO Now And After...
