International Hall of Fame Inductee, Azumah Nelson, has
revealed three secrets that made him one of greatest boxers in the
world.
Azumah regarded as the greatest Africa’s boxer and best featherweight
boxer of all time held the WBC featherweight belt for ten years.
The Bukom native was two divisional world champion, he won it at
featherweight and super featherweight, and the man known in the ring as
‘Professor’ has revealed the real secrets behind his success.
“Three things made me a great boxer. I had a better coach in the person
of the late Attuquaye Clottey, so I knew the techniques of boxing better
than my opponents.
“I worked hard and God was on my side, because there is a saying that God helps those who help themselves,” he told Happy FM.
