I was surprised the day I heard My son is Called Bola Ray - Mother

Mrs Gladys Adisi, mother of celebrated radio presenter and Chief Executive Officer of Excellence In Broadcasting (EIB) Network, Nathan Anokye Adisi, aka Bola Ray, has revealed that she was extremely surprised when she first heard her son being called Bola Ray.
According to her, she named her first son after a prophet in the Bible and nurtured him on sound Biblical principles and so never expected him to have picked up any other name.

Speaking on Kasapa FM Wednesday, on the ocassion of Bola Ray’s 40th birthday Mrs Gladys Adisi described Bola Ray as her favourite son as he’s always been humble since his infancy.

“If you nurture your child on Biblical principles hadly does he/she depart from such principles. Bola Ray has always been a calm and kind person.”

“The first day I heard he was called Bola Ray I was astonished, because that it not the name he was given at birth. His name Nathan means a gift from God and so when he came from school and was being called Bola all over the place, I asked him where from that name and its meaning, and he explained that he was a prefect in school and was given that name by the students because he was big in size.”
