7 nominations and no award is deliberate humiliation - Hammer

This year's Vodafone Ghana Music Awards night was full of surprises. While others are being congratulated and showered with praises, others are also being consoled.

One of the winners who got the most congratulatory messages was Joe Mettle whom many deemed to have broken the myth surrounding the category of the "Artist of the Year". 

On the other hand, the artist who got most consolatory messages was non other than AMG Medikal, whom many  deemed to have being humiliated and maltreated.

Seven Nominations with NO Awards won???? HOW???

This has come to me and any other loverS of MDK's music as total humiliation and unfair. Since the night of the awards till now, many people are still expressing their disappointment in the organizers for such mean treatment given to the artist.

Music Producer and CEO of 'Last 2 Records' Hammer, one great legend in Ghana music has also expressed his disappointment to the fact.

Da' Hammer took to his facebook page and wrote these few words:

"7 nominations and no award is deliberate humiliation. Not cool"

In fact no one is cool with thIs awards results. Where has Medikal  gone wrong? Did he lack votes in all the categories?

VGMA Board and Organizers Must Publish the results of votes Medikal acquired in all the categories he was nominated as they have done to the "Artist of the Year" category earlier today.

Ghana's "Most Original" dancehall artist Stonebwoy broke his own record yesterday when he pulled over 70,000 fans and lovers of his music at the Saka Saka Park in Ashaiman for the fifth edition of his annual 'Ashaiman To The World Concert'.
