Priceless Advice: You Can Start A Business With The Money You Use For Brazilian Hairs And Iphones - Nana Ama McBrown

Ghanaian Screen goddess Nana Ama McBrown has entreat young ladies to make a good use of what ever money they have by starting up a business of their own rather than spending it on expensive phones and Brazilian hairs.

McBrown, speaking to students and attendees at the Starr Woman Project held at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), said money spent on such vanity items could be better spent investing in a business.

“You don’t have to always depend on your parents for monies, what becomes of you if they die? You can start business with your mobile phones, you can do business after lectures, use the Brazilian or Peruvian money to start your own enterprise.” she said.

“What is the point in spending GHC1, 000-GHC1, 500 on wigs? You could be venturing into hairdressing, blogging, dressmaking or even bead making by selling your products online with your phones, which will fetch you lots of money. Be serious with your studies and use social media to get money as well, there is nothing wrong combining studies with business,” she added.
Commenting further, McBrown added that humility and determination are qualities every one of the should cultivate.

“You will go hungry if you don’t focus. Determination and courage will take you to places. Be ready to serve people with humility so that you will also be served in future,”

She advised the ladies not to buy things they cannot afford simply because they want to impress someone.
