Prodigal of legendary group VVIP sends congratulatory message to
Nigerian musicians Davido and Wizkid for winning the MOBO awards held
yesterday.
The award event saw Davido winning ‘Best African Art’
and Wizkid winning Best International Act’ respectively, in Prodigal’s
post this morning he made references to the fact that Ghanaian reggae
dancehall artist Samini is the first Ghanaian to ever win the “Best African Act” in 2006.

For all the up and coming dancehall artists let’s not forget to celebrate Samini, the first Ghanaian to win MOBO’s Best African Act in 2006.
As a proud African we have to stop this unnecessary imaginary “beef” that doesn’t even exist between Ghana and Nigeria. Let our music do the talking and the recognition be our drive. Let’s stop focusing on fake beef and get to work, winning for Africa. BE PROUD AFRICANS
