Focus on God, not money – Ohemaa Mercy tells gospel musicians

Celebrated gospel musician, Ohemaa Mercy has advised fellow industry players and upcoming gospel artistes to stop seeing the industry as a lucrative business venture. According to her, even though she has cemented her career with her gifted sensational voice, she believes God has given everyone a unique talent they must capitalize on.
Speaking on Joy FM, the ‘Aseda’ hitmaker indicated that, ‘It’s a big problem when people want to listen to man than God. People want to be in the business because of money; which is very wrong’ “It would be better if people always listen to God and be conscious about the work than focusing on money,” she said. Revealing her source of success in the industry, she said ‘if we allow God to be the centre of everything the blessings come automatically.’
