Dancehall singer Stonebwoy was given a heroic welcome yesterday in Sogakope when he arrived for a show at Tent of Judah. 1000's of Bhimnation fans trooped to the street to give Stone and kingly welcome. From a video footage, he posted on social media, the car in which he was traveling was surrounded by mammoth fans shouting out his name and taking handshakes with him. Stonebwoy who is native of the Volta region really felt the genuine love from his people.   He captioned one the videos "Not By My Might... Dancehall star Stonebwoy has for once responded to the so-called Ghanaian prophets whose God only predict the death of people. Three days ago a prophet by name Cosmos Walker Affran has posted on his Facebook page some 8 prophecies he claims God has revealed to him, which he calls "Sealed Prophesies" In his 3rd "sealed prophecy" was written " Someone should tell Stonebwoy that he should return anything that belongs to Zylofon Media to them before it becomes too late for him, life is better than Gold. Multiple award-winning South African recording artist and producer Cassper Nyovest who is currently in Ghana has been spotted in the studio with BET awards winner Stonebwoy working on a new song. Cassper who has been in Ghana since 25th March has toured numerous media houses granting interviews in which he declared Stonebwoy as his favorite artist, so this recording session comes as no surprise at all. The Zylofon Music signed act Stonebwoy who enjoyed the music they record shared some few photos on social media "Made a Smash last night #NyovestNation" he wrote. The coffin which was used to bury Ebony has stoked debates as people question the propriety of using one with a black color. Some have said that there could be spiritual connotations to the choice of color for the casket but Michael Dela, Chief Executive Officer of Gisarg Caskets and Coffins, manufacturers of the coffin used to bury dancehall artiste, has said there is no cause for alarm. In an exclusive interview with Citi Showbiz, Michael said his company designed the coffin without Ebony in mind. “I must be honest, we didn’t even have Ebony in mind but when we were done with it, I saw the casket and said this will actually suit Ebony. She’s called Ebony and her name represents the color black,” he said. The added that contrary to the debate going on, the black casket is actually quite common. “One of the caskets that we sell a lot is the black one. This one was actually one of our newer designs. Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah is close to signing for Inter Milan from Juventus.  Asamoah is set to join the Milan based side as a free agent in the summer. According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Ghanaian player Kwadwo Asamoah has refused to sign a new contract with Serie A champions Juventus as his current one runs out.  The 29-year-old middleman is reported to have already reached an agreement with Inter Milan to play for the club in the next three years which is set to earn him €3.5 million a season.  The Ghanaian joined Juventus six seasons ago from Udinese Calcio. by: Daniel Quartey

Saturday 24th March 2018 held the maiden edition of 3MUSIC Awards at the newly built Fantasy Dome in Accra.  A show which was fairly patronized saw a whole lot of great performances from artistes across genres. Big winners of the night include Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.  Stonebwoy emerged as the Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year whiles his arch-rival Shatta Wale emerged as Male Act of the Year and also won song of the year with Ayoo. Sarkodie was crowned best Hiplife/Hip-hop Artiste of the year and scooped the award for album of the year with his Highest album. Amazingly, none of the Lynx signed artistes (Mzvee, Kuami Eugene, and KiDi) won any of their various categories. Mr. Singh walks into a bank in London and asks for the loan officer. He says he's going to Europe on business for two weeks and needs to borrow £5000. The bank officer says the bank will need some kind of security for the loan, so Mr. Singh hands over the keys to a new Rolls Royce, which costs a quarter of a million pounds. “The car is parked on the street in front of the bank,” says Mr. Singh, “and I have all the necessary papers.”  The bank officer agrees to accept the car as collateral for the loan. After Mr. Singh leaves, the loan officer, the bank's president, and all their colleagues enjoy a good laugh at the man for using a £250,000 Rolls Royce as collateral against a £5,000 loan. One of the employees drives the Rolls into the bank's underground garage and parks it there.  Two weeks later, Mr. Singh returns, repays the £5000 and the interest, which comes to £15.41. The loan officer says, "Sir, I must tell you, we’re all a little puzzled.

The death of dancehall diva Ebony Reigns who was buried on Saturday 24th March has really brought some tremendous changes in the lives of her parents as her mother, has promised to give her father a second chance to resolve their differences and reignite the flame of love they once shared. Mr. and Mrs. Opoko Kwarteng got divorced so many years ago prompting young Ebony to stay and grow up leaving with only her father before her breakthrough in music came two years ago. Mr. Opoko has been leaving with her daughter and supporting her music career amid all the criticisms the media and society hailed on Ebony with regards to her style of dressing while her mother Madam Beatrice Oppong leaves separately in the states. When Ebony met her sudden accident on 8th February which sadly took her life , something remarkable has happened since then, both parents are now seen together throughout over a month of mourning till her final internment. Fatima Dangote and Jamil Abubakar are currently celebrating their love in what we call the grand finale of their entire wedding events. The final burial service of dancehall diva ebony was held at the forecourt of the state house in Accra today.  There was no place for footsteps as the whole nation thronged to the venue to show their last respect to the late singjay.  A tribute concert was held yesterday in her honor which was also a success.  Here are some photos taken at the burial service grounds.
