Did Zylofon Media Really Charged Charterhouse 200K or 700K For Stonebwoy And Shatta To Perform At The VGMAs? - Sammy Flex Has Spoken

Many were taken aback when the list of artistes performing on the main stage of this year's VGMAs was announced and not even a single out of the six musicians signed on to Ghana's biggest record label Zylofon Music was among.

As usual, speculations and rumours have spread far and wide that Zylofon acts like the two dancehall greats, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale were not named because their label demanded a huge performance fee from the awards organizers.

Some online portals have even quoted Ghs 200,000 and 700,000 being the money Zylofon Media demanded from Charterhouse for their artistes to perform for only 30 minutes.

Sammy Flex, the Head of Communication at Zylofon Media and also the host of 'Showbiz Agenda' on Zylofon Fm, on Friday 13th April, has debunked all those rumours, saying there's no iota of truth in them, as monitored by www.elormonline.com.

"Let me even waste time to say this, some writers, some journalist and some bloggers have put out some stories of Zylofon Media demanding some amount of money, all those stories are fallacy, that's why we don't even have the time to talk about it"
According to him, their artistes are not performing because negotiations didn't go through well between Charterhouse and Zylofon Music and for that matter, an agreement was not reached.

"Zylofon Media is always ready to do business with any entity or  individual  but at the end of the day, we have to understand ourselves, it's about what you are offering and what we are accepting, if what you are offering is not what am accepting there's going to be an issue, it's just like the business of buying and selling, there's no problem as much as I know" he said on Zylofon Fm.
