Under the auspices of Zylofon Music, Shatta Wale, one of the most popular dancehall acts in the world, is set to unveil his most expensive music video thus far in his illustrious career.
The music video for ‘Gringo’, a new single off the upcoming ‘Reign’ album has been captured in a short film, directed by internationally-recognized video director, Sesan, for Film Factory and produced by David Nguyen.
The film would show for the first time across Africa on MTVBase, Channel 322 on the ‘Spanking New’ show, this Friday, April 27, 2018 Shot in the province of Blanco, Texas, USA, at the Buggy Barn Museum and cast in the 1880s, the film cast over 20 international actors in what is arguably tagged as the most expensive video shot by any homegrown artiste from Africa.
Shatta Wale, who has been enlisted by an international portal, Netnewsledger.com, as one of the Top 10 Dancehall artists in the world - has amassed over 65million views of his videos since 2012 – making him one of the most-viewed and most-sought-after artists in Africa.
Sesan Ogunro is a UK-based Nigerian video producer, director, and 3D Animator, who is widely recognized for quality works done for the likes of French Montana, D’Banj, Tiwa Savage, MI, Sarkodie, Davido and many others.
