'Koo Ntakra Has Become Disrespectful And Ungrateful To Me After I Helped Him Win MTN Hitmaker' - Oteng

Multiple hit records producer 'Wei ye Oteng' has expressed his disgust about how young artiste Koo Ntakra has become ungrateful and disrespectful to him after he helped him during MTN Hitmaker season 2 which he eventually won in 2013.

According to Oteng, after he mentored and nurtured Koo during the 13 weeks of competition till he won the reality show, the young talent hasn't shown appreciation to him, even a common phone call to say oh thank you, he didn't get.

He also said he wrote, sung and produced several songs for him free of charge during the competition but when he has announced the winner up to date he didn't say thank you to him.

"Everyone listening to this show should call him to tune in and ask him that after that night when he won MTN hitmaker at the National Theater has he ever picked a phone to call and say Oteng thank you or even on the night has he? On the night when he was doing rehearsals, I was there to make sure everything is on point or even thank me for bringing Castro to come to the studio and give him moral support, Sammy do you think is easy calling a personality like Castro to just make sure he boost your energy and vim? Bring all the songs he did in the house and I will show you which one I wrote, the one I sang, am not saying Koo Ntakra should come and seat with me, am talking about a phone call.
Am talking about showing recognition and respect for people who lay down their lives to help you- that's all, I don't need or want anything from him" angry Oteng said on Showbiz Agenda with Sammy Flex, Thursday 26 April.
Many producers have complained every now and then about upcoming artistes becoming ungrateful once they breakthrough, this has discouraged a lot from helping up and coming talents.
