Good People Still Exist! A Cleaner Returned $6000, She Found In Airport Toilet...See Her Reward.

A lady identified as Charity Bassey, a cleaner at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, Nigeria has done something many will consider as lame in today's world of materiality and hunger for money.

According to reports, she has found an amount of $6000 in the airport's washroom and humbly returned it to the authorities, surprisingly enough, she got no rewards for her kind and God-fearing gesture.

Read her narrations below:

"A passenger drew my attention to something in the toilet, I went in and saw the small black nylon on the floor. It looked dirty and rough, you won’t know it is money that was inside it. I picked it, felt some notes inside and took it to the customer care".

“I was given a glove to bring out the contents and I counted 60 pieces of $100 dollar bills.”

Apparently, the package mistakenly fell off a passenger and many would have thought the owner and airport authorities would have shown some form of appreciation with a reward but that never happened.

Charity Bassey said“Nobody gave me anything, the manager, company or even the owner who later came back looking for the money. I am, however, not discouraged as I do my best to do a good job with a clear conscience.”

"This is not the first time I am picking up forgotten items like wallets, phones, small bags and even money. I have always returned them to the frontline desk or customer care desk" she added.

Well, a good name they say is better than riches. Charity may be in trouble if she had decided to keep the money for her personal gains.
