Ashaiman Accident: Jasikan Bueman Graduate Crushed to Death By KIA Truck

Love Atsu a 21-year  SHS graduate met her untimely death today at Ashaiman when she got run over by a KIA truck loaded with cement blocks which veered off the road after a brake failure and died instantly.

According to sources, the deceased completed Bueman Senior High School at Jasikan in the Volta region and came to Ashaiman just yesterday to stay with an auntie who was said to have sent her to by foodstuff and phone credit when the unfortunate accident happened.

Six others also sustained a varying degree of injuries and are currently seeking medical attention at the Tema General Hospital.

Eyewitnesses indicated that the driver tried his best to salvage the situation but to no avail and they blamed the traders for occupying half of the road if not the car would have only hit the pavements.

They blamed the traders of returning to the streets despite being sacked from the streets some time ago.

They called on the Ashaiman Municipal Assembly’s Chief Executive Albert Boakye Okyere to take the bull by the horn evict the traders from the streets to ensure a free flow of traffic_mynewsgh.com noted.
