The CEO of Ghana's Gold dealership company Mezgold and Zylofon Group of Companies, Nana Appiah Mensah has called on the youths of Awutu Senya East Municipality to call off their intended demonstration in solidarity of Menzgold.
The Bank of Ghana (BoG) for some months now has been attacking Menzgold and has issued several letters warning the general public to desist from doing business with them because they are taking deposits of money but are not licenced by BoG to do so.
Mengold has refuted those claims and made it clear that it does not accept money deposits but deals in only Gold and has been duly registered under the Minerals Commission of Ghana.
This action by the central bank is stirring up anger in the youths of Kasoa who thinks it's a delibrate act of BoG to discredit Menzgold to its loyal customers hence, they are planning to demonstrate in solidarity of Menzgold.
But the CEO is humbly urging them to call off the demonstration for his firm is a law-abiding one and is taking legal diplomatic steps to resolve the issues.
He posted on social media: "My attention has been drawn to a pending demonstration up in the Awutu Senya East Municipality in solidarity of Menzgold. I humbly urge all to desist. We are employing a diplomatic resolution under the tenet of rule of law in the interest of our beloved republic.#GhanaShallProsper"
