Ghanaians Roast Sarkodie On Social Media For Hyping A Nigerian's Music Video, This is Why ( See Screenshots)
Rapper Sarkodie has incurred the wrath of some Ghanaians on social media for promoting a music video of a Nigerian artist.
Sarkodie in the early hours of Sunday 26th August 2018, posted a Youtube video screenshot of Mr P of defunct P square's latest release 'Wokie wokie' promoting it on IG and this didn't go down well with majority of his followers.
The fans who were very disappointed in Sark even used insults to express their displeasures.
Ghanaians have lamented for long about how our media gives more attention to Nigerian music to the neglect of our own.
For about six months now Ghanaian DJs have listened to the several calls from stakeholders in the industry and are now playing more Ghanaian songs on the airwaves.
One of the reasons why these fans got angry with Sarkodie was what we all saw in video footages from the just ended Zylofon Media, Menzgold Naija Invasion Concert, where Nigerians disrespected our A-list artist and watch them performed to the air as if they were nothing.
During the performance of Stonebwoy and the other Ghanaian acts on the night, the Nigerian audience didn't give a hoot and some even sat on the edges of the stage while our artists perform their hearts out to the "empty hall".
So for Sarkodie to promote a Nigerian artist's video which he hardly does to his Ghanaian fellows, the fans got on his nerve to pull down the post but he didn't.
