Medikal Beats Stonebwoy, Efya, Nasty C and more to Win Best African Music Artist at IARA Awards 2018| see other winners

AMG Business rapper Medikal has emerged the winner of Best African Music Artist at this year's  International Achievement Recognition Awards(IARA) 2018 held in London last Saturday 22nd September.

The rapper beats a stiff competition from Stonebwoy, Efya, Nasty C, Sautisol, Lira, Laylizzy and Nsoki Neto to win the award.

The IARA Awards which was founded in 2014, recognises and celebrates the exceptional works of extraordinary positive roles models who have excelled within their respective industries.


Other winners from Ghana are Joselyn Dumas who picked Best Actress for her role in Potato Potahto, Zynnell Zuh as Best Young Actress for her role in Nadia Buari's Deranged movie and Michael Dapaah as the Best Male Artist.



Congratulations to all winners especially our Ghanaians for making us proud out there.

Dancehall Superstar Stonebwoy shutdown Samatex Sports Stadium in Samerboi- Western Region of Ghana on May 1, with energetic performance witnessed by a mammoth, crowd. Stonebwoy and his Bhimnation team performed for the Wood processing company 'Samatex' in private before the biggest party on the park. The rave was well attended and fans really had fun as some were given the chance to share the stage with their hero.  This's what he had to say after the massive show:  "There Have Been Stars Before Me And Stars Shall Come After...I Just Want to Remain A HERO Now And After...
