ALL SET FOR THE GRAND LAUNCH AND UNVEILING OF NOMINEES FOR THE 20TH VGMAs

Charterhouse Productions Ghana, organizers of the annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards scheme is happy to announce that after days and hours of painstaking deliberations and debates at the 20th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Board Meetings, the Board has finally completed its work and is ready to unveil the highly anticipated list of nominees for the year.

The unveil, slated for Friday, 15th March 2019, as has happened in previous years, will be done hourly on selected radio and TV stations and online via a number of Social Media handles, websites and blog portals.

It may be instructive to note that the hourly unveil is a prelude to the Nominees Announcement Party slated for 8pm same day at the La Beach Hotel.

The Event, to which admittance is strictly by invitation will see performances from some of Ghana’s most talented and most respected music acts with the evening’s highlight being the grand reveal of the new Vodafone Ghana Music Awards plaque designed to replace the current plaque for the next few years.
It is expected to be attended by a tall list of VIP guests comprising musicians, music industry players, actors, government representatives, media practitioners and a lot more.

The 20th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is a Charterhouse Ghana Event and sponsored by Vodafone Ghana.

Dancehall Superstar Stonebwoy shutdown Samatex Sports Stadium in Samerboi- Western Region of Ghana on May 1, with energetic performance witnessed by a mammoth, crowd. Stonebwoy and his Bhimnation team performed for the Wood processing company 'Samatex' in private before the biggest party on the park. The rave was well attended and fans really had fun as some were given the chance to share the stage with their hero.  This's what he had to say after the massive show:  "There Have Been Stars Before Me And Stars Shall Come After...I Just Want to Remain A HERO Now And After... Ebony Promised an Underground Artiste A Record Deal and It Really Happened, Find Out The Details Here

After fast rising dancehall diva Ebony, dropped her trending single which she calls "Date Ur Fada" , many artistes have also ride on the rhythm in what they called, a replay to Ebony's song. The likes of Luther and a couple of few artistes have tried their best but the version of Brella Gh , an underground artiste, got the attention of Ebony. The 'sponsor' hitmaker was mesmerized  after listening to this young talent rode on the rhythm and murdered it with his own version called "Play u gala". She saw a very unique talent in the young man and so, promised to help get him a record deal. "Somebody find this guy for me.i want to help him get a record deal.the best reply so far to my date ur fada and i think he is talented#dateurfada" she wrote .   This appears as a joke to many but God being so good, Ebony really fulfilled  her promise and Brella Gh got signed onto Rufftown Records.
