We all got our ambitions in life, right? Well gospel songstress Gifty Osei has disclosed that she will be the first Ghanaian gospel act to get BET nominations. According to Aseda hitmaker, she believes she will get the nomination because even MzVee has gotten a BET nomination. She was on Hitz Fm and when asked about her future plans and more, she said, “I will be the first Ghanaian gospel artiste to win the VGMAs, and I can tell you I will be the first Ghanaian act to make it to the BETs.” After Gifty Osei popularly refers to as Empress One made that statement about she being the first Ghanaian act that will make it to the BETs, the host gave his reservations and she replied, “Arhh, don’t you believe me, I said I will be the first Ghanaian gospel act to make it to the BETs, even MzVee had BET nomination. Beat Making is more Difficult than Maths, appreciate my husband's work - Shatta michy

Michelle Diamond Gbagonah also known as Shatta Michy has overly proven that she’s 100% supportive of her husband, Shatta Wale’s work. Time without number have critics labelled Shatta Wale’s production as not been the best and that his beats are similar, beats are not properly mastered, sings with the same keys and more. Well, Shatta Michy was on Metro TV with Dzifa Gray and when asked how she would react to critics saying Shatta Wale’s productions are just one way and that they are tired of his one-way productions, she said, “Well, I’ve also heard stories like that. I’m in the studio with him all the time, and trust me, beat making, singing and putting all those stuff together to make a complete song is more difficult than Maths”. She continued, “So people should appreciate him and his talent the more. I find my husband to be more brilliant and overly intelligent. From the basics to putting things together, trust me, it’s no joke.” Her husband, Shatta Wale

Most Gospel Artistes Don't Understand Showbiz --Gifty Osei

As to whether gospel artistes understand the showbiz industry or not, that is a question we should ask for  an answer. Interestingly, the ‘Jesus be too much’ hit maker Gifty Osei thinks some gospel artistes don’t understand the showbiz industry so well hence a disadvantage to them. She said this on “This is Gospel” with Franky5 on Hitz fm.  Well, some of these gospel artistes think the Gospel was given for free as such they can also perform for free since it’s all about the word of God.  As far as she is concerned, releasing a song or an album on the market involves a lot of money and they form part of the business aspect of the industry.  “As a gospel musician, I go to the studio to record for a fee. And I also pay some other people who compose songs for me apart from the ones I compose myself. Again, I go for the services of the various instrumentalists like the lead guitarist, basist, keyboardist etc who help me with my live performances which is a common practice o

Whenever you want to do a song with Sarkodie, you must endeavor to give off your best or else, trolling awaits you. Well, grandpapa, Reggie Rockstone was on Hitz FM, and when asked by the host, Mercury Quaye why he is not having any song with King Sarkodie, Reggie Rockstone replied that he doesn’t want people to troll him nor any comparisons. “Sarkodie is such an amazing talent, he’s a beast. I won’t do a song with him today or tomorrow for him to flop me and even take my crown, I won’t. He continued,  “Even if I will agree to jump on a song with him, I have to gym my lyrics. The last time he asked that we do a song together, I told him, then I have to do the chorus because his fans will start comparisons and then the trolling will follow. I’m not ready to do any song with him.” Reggie Rockstone saying no to doing a song with the highest, Sarkodie. Reggie Rockstone also disclosed that he won’t stop talking about he being the originator of hiplife and that he wi

"Kaakie and MzVee Beef a JOKE" Coz They Can't Write their Own Songs - Edem

Hiplife artist, Edem has said award winning Afropop and Dancehall musician MzVee and self acclaimed Dancehall queen Kaakie, lack what it takes to sustain a beef. According to him, the inability of the two popular female artistes to write their own songs makes their perceived beef a joke since the alleged tension between them will be short-lived. Some industry watchers recently claimed there was bad blood between the two artistes following the release of Kaakie’s “Sankwas” song which featured hiplife musician Guru in which she’s thought to have dissed MzVee with reference to a line in the song which says: “opposition want make we fall…them try hard to be we, but they end up skinny and lean.” In what was seen by many as a response to the attack on her, MzVee in her new single titled “Make I Shine” claimed, Jah (God) appointed her as Ghana’s Dancehall Queen. She described Kaakie as a loudmouth, adding that she should leave her to shine. However she has since denie
